The Wynwood Yard just launched this six-month long hands-on series of cooking classes led by some of Miami’s favorite chefs! Partially funded by Target Foundation and in partnership with Wellness in the Schools, which selected The Wynwood Yard as the site of this program, this new series will teach you how to make fresh, wholesome meals at home. Cooking teams will whip up family-style meals which will be shared after the cooking is done. Proceeds will benefit Wellness in the School’s programs committed to ending childhood obesity through nutrition and fitness education. A handful of tickets per class will also be distributed to local non-profit organizations and neighborhood service providers such as teachers, police and fire rescue professionals to attend the cooking classes free of charge.
